Autopilot rake control

Automated foil and rudder trim for faster, easier and safer sailing. The flyte computer adjusts foil and rudder rake to keep lift in the right zone. Foils and rudders can be trimmed asymmetrically, even while foiling. Drives with ceramic bearings and titanium gearing eliminate friction to trim under load.

  • Earlier takeoff, stable flight, smooth landing
  • Gust/lull compensation via announced rake control
  • Asymmetrical rudder and foil trim even during flight
  • Configurable profiles for safety, cruising, or racing
  • Load expert settings from top sailors

Telemetry

Built in, wired, and reliable. The telemetry system provides real-time analytics, session logging, and export for post-sail analysis. Dual cockpit displays rotate with the mast for a direct view of flight and trim data. Wired sensors track flight height, wind, speed, velocity-made-good, mast rotation, and more. Helm and crew can switch profiles, view telemetry, land, announce maneuvers, or tune settings with the remotes.

  • Session logging and expert profile comparison
  • Web app for live and post-sail analytics
  • Export for video overlays and third-party sailing analytics tools
  • No external systems. Flyte computer handles it all

Full-carbon, Lightweight Build

~40 kg lighter than comparable foilers. Flyte's full-carbon construction delivers stiffness, precision, and safety at a significantly lower weight. The platform weighs ~76 kg; the complete ready-to-sail boat is ~148 kg including rigging, sails, foils, snuffer, displays, computer, battery and mechatronics. Built by experts from SailGP and America's Cup programs, Flyte benefits from elite-level craftsmanship and performance.

  • ~148 kg total ready-to-sail weight including all sensors and electronics
  • Carbon snuffer and decksweeper jib
  • Carbon trampoline with integrated layout
  • Sunken traveler track, no mainsheet blocks. Clean, low-drag deck

Fast in every mode

25+ kn foiling in about 11 kn wind. 30+ kn in 15+ kn. More than 2× wind speed. In displacement mode it is quick and efficient. In foiling mode it reaches over 30 kn, in the range of Olympic class boats.

  • Foiling speed at 10-12 knots wind: Upwind ~20 knots, Downwind ~25 knots
  • Top speed: 30+ knots (~56+ km/h) in 15+ knots wind
  • Foiling starts at ~6 knots with gennaker
  • Gennaker not needed above 10 knots
  • Competitive in mixed-class club racing

Two person foiling

Built for two. Can be sailed solo. The helm needs some experience; the crew can start as a beginner. With a yardstick of 442, Flyte rates faster than the Olympic Nacra 17 and is a strong choice for club racing.

  • Double trapeze and three footstraps per side
  • Good to share with family or friends. Crew can learn and take on more over time
  • Solo sailing option, agile like a foiling A-Cat, but assisted
  • High performance without needing elite skill
  • Dual remote controls. Helm and crew can switch profiles, view telemetry, land, announce maneuvers, or tune settings, even from trapeze

"Reduced to the max. Light, stiff, clean. This boat is fast, really fast! Early lift, stable flight, easy innovative electronic controls - whether in automatic or manual mode."

Jakub "Kuba" Surowiec, A-Class World Champion
